Tomorrow is a public holiday

The government has declared a public holiday tomorrow, 14th of August. On the occasion of Janai Purnima, the festival of Hindus, the government has declared a public holiday tomorrow on the occasion of Janai Purnima.

Rakshabandhan is a holy festival celebrated by Hindus. The word Rakshabandhan is a combination of two words ‘Raksha and Bandhan’ Raksha means a brother promises to protect his sister and Bandhan which brings more love, affection, closeness and love in the relationship between brother and sister.

According to the classical belief, especially Tagadhari should read the Vedas for a year and Janai Purnima is taken as the day of its Sange (end).
